Cerastium tomentosum

Cerastium tomentosum is an old-fashioned rockery plant often inherited in old gardens. It is a rampant perennial, forming dense mats or hummocks of evergreen, silvery, pointed leaves, covered throughout the summer months in star-shaped white flowers. It is ideal for covering walls or rocks, especially in poor soil in sunny sites, to the extent that it can become invasive.
