____________________________________

Gypsophila repens is a useful plant for growing on the tops of walls or on a rockery, as it does not mind dry conditions and grows over the edges neatly. It forms a short carpet of tiny greyish leaves on prostrate stems, which is covered in sprays of small white flowers throughout the summer and into autumn. Gypsophila repens rosea is the pink version.
